Whole person focused individualized care is the way in which Gateways Counseling facilitates positive growth and change permanency. Involving members of our clients environment, as well as treating the multiple levels of need our client's each individually have. This can include treating family members and collaborating on treatment with your physicians, social workers, or supervision agencies. Substance abuse or mental health difficulties of one individual often affect those in their environment as well. To make the whole picture turn to one of positive or the whole puzzle to come together again we can provide care to all of those involved. Doing this can assist in prevention with others in the environment one lives, generational re-occurrence is common in households where a member is dealing with mental health or substance use difficulties. The suffering of anyone we care about affects everyone around them. Our goal is to have clients return to a positive environment in a positive and healthy mindset following care.

Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
Our ways of thinking and moral reasoning can lead to a number of decisions that result in criminal behaviors, our MRT certified therapists offer treatment options for criminal thinking, sex offender treatment, and domestic violence offender treatment.

Our various programs for substance abuse and narcotic treatment include group, individual, mens, womens, and family counseling as well as medication management if necessary. Youth and adolescent assessment, treatment, education and diversion. We offer a number of treatment options for substance use and Narcotic Treatment at Gateways in addition to individual assessment and counseling.
We are contracted with the State of Wisconsin to assess and treat operators found to be under the influence of substances.
Gateways has educational speakers and presenters available for contract on substance use and addiction education, prevention.

Gateways Day Treatment Center is
a five-week program designed to assist the individual and family in recovery, resolve and developing resilience to maintain a life free from alcohol and other drugs. Using changing behavioral thinking methods
The group meets on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 8:45 am to 1:00 pm .
The group meets Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 1:45 pm to 5:45 pm.
In Black River Falls
The group meets Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 8:45 am to 1:00 pm.
Clients in this program are also required to meet with an AODA Counselor on an individual basis once weekly.
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Co-Pays and Deductible amounts will be due at the time of service.
